Sunday school resumes on Sunday, August 25th, after trapeza.

Open Enrollment for the Youth Choir: Children ages 4-16 years old are welcomed to join the youth choir. We will have our rehearsals in groups according to kids ages, mostly on Sundays, with some exceptions for those days when the main choir has their rehearsals, then we will re-schedule for Saturdays. All the families who have already sung with us before, just need to let Svetlana know (by phone, text, or email) if they will be joining the choir this coming school year. If you have any questions regarding the youth choir, please contact Svetlana Cherskaya (281)  220-7599, svechersk@gmail.com We plan on having our rehearsal on Sunday, August 25th.

St. Herman’s Conference this year will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio, from December 26th through December 30th. If you have a child that will be attending, please let Fr. John Whiteford know. We are trying to plan transportation ahead of time.

The Next Parish Council Meeting will be held on Sunday, September 15th after Trapeza.

Sisterhood News:  The Sisterhood Good Thoughts Book Club is reading God’s Path to Sanity by Dee Pennock. These books are available in the bookstore. The next book club meeting will be on August 31, 2019 at 1:30 PM in the Trapeza Hall. Contact Merilee Eidson for additional details.

Fasting in the Coming week:

On Monday, August 26th, wine, and oil are permitted. Tuesday, August 27th, and Friday, August 30th, are normal fast days. On Wednesday, August 28th, fish, wine and oil are permitted. All other days are fast free.
