Announcements
We will take a special collection for the Marsh Family. James Marsh was injured, and has been unable to work. They are going to be moving back to our area, but they are in a temporary bind, and need help to be able to move.
If you would like to contribute to pay the expenses for John Gentry’s funeral, please note in your donation that it is for “Funeral Costs.” This funeral will cost approximately $4,500.00. You can send in electronic donations by clicking here, or make a note in the memo line of your check.
Summer Camps: The overnight retreat for children 13 to 18 years old in Goodrich, TX, is on. We have 12 young people who have registered. They will be leaving the Church at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, and the camp will run through Friday June 24th.
We would like to invite all kids to get together for a week of day camp at St. Jonah’s held Monday through Friday, June 27th through July 1st, 9 am to 3 pm. Fasting in the Coming week: We begin the Apostles’ Fast on Monday, June 20th. Monday, June 20th; and Wednesday, June 22nd, are normal fast days. On Tuesday, June 21st; and Thursday, June 23rd, wine and oil are permitted. On Friday, June 24th; Saturday, June 25th; and Sunday, June 26th, fish, wine, and oil are permitted.
