  Announcements

Because of Labor Day Weekend, we will not have Sunday School, but the Youth Choir will meet immediately following Trapeza (group A, led by Svetlana Cherskaya, for 30 minutes; and group B, led by Merilee Eidson will meet for 20 minutes).

We will have our next Slavonic Liturgy on Saturday, September 14th, at 9:00 a.m.

The Next Parish Council Meeting will be held on Sunday, September 15th after Trapeza.

Sisterhood News:  The Sisterhood will host its annual Bar-B-Que Fundraiser Saturday, September 14th from 11 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The Sunday School classes will also be hosting a bake sale for desserts.

Beginning Tuesday Sept 2nd – through Sept 10th, pre-sale Barbecue plates may be ordered online at https://saintjonah.org/shop/ Unless previous arrangements are made through the sisterhood, only online orders will be accepted. All other purchases will need to be made the day of the sale. Pre-sale purchases will be available for pick-up at the church beginning Saturday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m.

Bookstore News: Book club book: Short Trip to the Edge is available in the bookstore.
